🔹ARRIVALS & CHECK-IN: 

Doors open 20 minutes prior to the event start time for check in. Please  arrive 10-20 mins early. If you are late, you may find yourself locked outside the venue temporarily for approx 30+ mins until we have concluded our intro. In addition, you may not be assisted in catching up with your painting. Paintings are NOT outlined.

 

Plan ahead for weather, accidents and other traffic related incidents. It’s your responsibility to be on time.

🔹FOOD AND DRINKS: 

BYO (bring your own) snacks and drinks. We provide cups and corkscrews. Events are not intended lunch or dinners. Keep snacks light and simple. ONLY Individually packed  finger foods (example: chips, dip, cupcakes, cheese, crackers, finger sandwiches etc) or small snacks platters at each table are allowed. Approx 4-5 guests per table. No large platters, trays, coolers, pitchers or dispensers are allowed (exception: pizza). Food must be kept at the tables where you are seated. Ice buckets provided if you bring your own ice.

 

🔹ID VERIFICATION: (NO EXCEPTIONS)

We will check photo ID's for ALL guests who purchased a ticket(s). If you purchase a ticket for another guest and will NOT be in attendance, please email reservations@canvasgrapes.com and attached a picture of your ID as well as the FULL NAME of the guest(s) who will be in attendance . If you purchased a ticket(s) for others and you will be in attendance we will only need verify your ID at the door. Valid forms of ID include a state issued drivers license or passport, work or school ID, professional license such as nurse, doctor or other photo identification.

 

🔹TICKETS:

All guests must have a paid ticket (per person) to get into the building. You DO NOT need to print anything. Please check in at the counter upon arrival. No spectators or visitors are allowed inside the venue.

 

🔹SEATING / GROUPS:

Seats are assigned in the order they come in (no seating requests). Make sure all guest(s) put in the correct group name or host name in the notes section of the order. Failure to do so may result in separate seating arrangements. This cannot be undone  at the venue. Groups of 3+ may be seated at tables adjacent to one another about 2.3ft apart. We reserve the right to seat your group according our guidelines following local ordinances and fire code regulations.

🔹CANCELLATIONS: 

Canvas & Grapes has a firm NO REFUND policy. Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance of the event will be issued a store credit for the full amount paid, towards another event that occurs within 30 days of the original reservation. 

 

Only one reschedule allowed per reservation. A second cancellation, even if within 30 days of the original reservation, will result in forfeiture of funds paid/store credit. 

 

Cancellations made with less than a 24 hours notice or failure to show will NOT have the option to receive a store credit or reschedule even in emergency situations. This includes reservations made less than 24 hours before the start of the event.

 

PLEASE NOTE: IF A CLASS DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT RESERVATIONS, THE CLASS MAY BE CANCELED. PARTICIPANTS MAY ONLY OPT TO RESCHEDULE. WE DO NOT CANCEL CLASSES FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER. 

 

Canvas & Grapes reserves the right to cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances including state/federal mandated closure. All registered guests will be notified, via email, by 10PM the night prior to the event (when circumstances allow). Guest may only receive a store credit.

 

Disputes with your issuing bank are subject to a full small claims suit and bank fraud police report as per new 2023 governing laws in NJ for small businesses. All disputes will be denied.

 

ALL 24hr notice cancellations must be made in writing to reservations@canvasgrapes.com.

Private events must refer to their contract for the cancellation policy.

​

Gift cards are NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

🔹BANK DISPUTES: 

Legal Disclosure: As of February 15th, 2022 filing false disputes filed against a businesses cancellation policy is considered bank fraud and punishable by law. Business owners have the right to press charges and pursue such claims in the full amount of the transaction plus any additional fees and compensation. Pursuant to such claims a police report will be filed for a full investigation as well as a small claims case using the name, phone number, address and IP address used to purchase any goods and services from the merchant.

 

We are required to send this message to avoid any disputes and for collections purposes.

 

🔹INCLEMENT WEATHER: 

We do not cancel events for inclement weather conditions or other advisories including heavy rain or snow unless a state mandated closure is declared or all roads are shut down by the governor. In the event such state mandated closure a store credit will be issued. If you wish to cancel your reservation please refer to the cancellation policy.

🔹COVID-19 Disclosure: 

We do not require masks or vaccinations. We DO NOT provide free masks.

 

🔹DECORATIONS: 

Light decorations such as balloons and other small table decor is allowed . NO GLITTER.

 

🔹PARKING: 

Parking is free in the plaza. Our studio is located in Mill Plaza along with Francesco’s Pizzeria and Carvel Ice Cream.

🔹GRATUITY: 

Tips/gratuity for the staff are not included but greatly appreciated. Cash tip buckets are available in the studio. You may also choose to tip the staff via Cash App $CGSTIPS or Venmo @CGTIPS.
